Alkalinity
AquaPacific Residual Chlorine kit uses Colorimetric method to estimate Alkalinity and is calculated in mg/l.
Alkalinity is important in considering drinking water and wastewater treatment because it influences cleaning processes like anaerobic digestion. If the alkalinity of the drinking water is too low, it is possible that the water could be corrosive to metal piping, fixtures, and the metal components of heat exchange units and other appliances. If the alkalinity of the drinking water is too high, the water can have a salty, soda like, or chalky taste, dry your skin
