Chloride
Chlorides are salts resulting from the combination of the gas chlorine with a metal. They are one of the major inorganic anions present in water. The chloride content in water is estimated to ascertain the corrosion in the system.
Chlorides can corrode metals and affect the taste of food products. Chlorides can also contaminate fresh water streams and lakes. Fish and aquatic communities cannot survive in high levels of chlorides.
AquaPacific Chloride kit uses Titration method to estimate Chlorides and is calculated in mg/l.
